Students have access to activities on California Career Center that are intended to support them in the process of career and college exploration. We hope they will open up avenues of exploration and/or help them learn more about who they are, where they want to go, and how they will get there.
Students can choose to either complete the activities within a registered account, which will allow them to save their work, or they can print the PDF version for completion offline.
All the activities are available to you as PDFs so that you can easily assign them as student work. These PDF versions include both content and activity pages, with the related URL, so students can either complete and return the PDF or complete the activity online, then print and return to you.
If you choose to work with a group of students in a computer lab, they will need to establish accounts in order to complete the activities online.
Some points for your consideration:
- There are no right or wrong answers.
- We suggest that students be allowed sufficient time to complete an activity. They may want to ask others about some options or informally research some of their answers.
- Encourage your student/s to save their work in our Portfolio section. Unfinished work may be saved there for future completion. Materials kept in a portfolio can come in handy for applications, recommendation letters, and college/job interviews.
